What MerlinVet Learned at London Vet Show 2022 + Competition Announcement
MerlinVet Group was on show at London Vet Show on 17th – 18th November at the ExCeL in London. A first outing for our new group branding, our stand attracted a steady stream of visitors across the two days, where the team had the opportunity to catch up with some familiar faces and some completely new ones.
Some of our key takeaways from London Vet Show included:
- Brilliant place to interact with likeminded industry professionals and experts (possibly the best place for this in the UK each year)
- Great range of CPD and talks
- Exhibition space was well organised & enabled easy interaction with different stands when walking around
- Opportunities for networking throughout the day were excellent
- Simple to collect new leads through event technology
London Vet Show provided one of the first opportunities for us to showcase all 5 parts of the business together at once, as well as Relyne. We were able to talk to visitors to the stand about all aspects of the business, from our import/export side and wholesale side of operations, to our veterinary buying group, health plan solutions, and gas exposure monitoring service. You can find out a little more about each part of Merlin in the video at the bottom of this article.
We were incredibly lucky to be joined by Julian Norton from The Yorkshire Vet, alongside his wife Anne, who both answered questions from delegates around setting up a new practice.

MerlinVet’s London Vet Show Competition
Congratulations to Kelly Eyre, who won our London Vet Show competition and is the proud new owner of a Garmin Multisport GPS Watch and PitPat dog activity monitor. From the hundreds of entrants who visited our stand, the one lucky winner, drawn at random, was Kelly, who works at the Feline Healthy Ageing Clinic. Kelly, your prize is on its way!
Wonderful time had at London @VetShow @ExCeLLondon

Additional Thoughts & Key Links
London Vet Show proved, once again, to be a thoroughly worthwhile experience exhibiting; we generated many new leads and were able to showcase all 5 parts of the Group to the wider industry. Our branded water bottles, coffee flasks and tote bags proved exceptionally popular. Please tag us in any snaps with your water bottles or coffee flasks when you’re out and about – we’d love to see them getting a run out in public. Also, let us know if you’d be interested in seeing these become available in the future. It was brilliant to see so many people visiting the stand and interacting with us over the course of the event – and we look forward to replicating this in 2023. Thank you to everyone who took their team out of their day to come visit us.
We’ve collated some of the key questions that we were asked and are still being asked since London Vet Show and put them into a handy FAQ sheet. You can view the MerlinVet Group FAQ sheet here.
