Help is available throughout the veterinary community, including for nurses, students, and other staff in practices across the UK.<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>In 2021, Vetlife responded to 3390 enquiries, demonstrating the importance of the work they are doing. Vetlife provides support through trained volunteers, offering confidential and non-judgmental help and advice via phone and email, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you\u2019d like to support the work of Vetlife, you can donate\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vetlife.org.uk\/#monthly-donation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Vetlife offers support to anyone with mental health difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, stress, isolation, alcohol and drug misuse, and eating disorders. Vetlife\u2019s mental health professionals, including nurses, therapists and psychiatrists, offer advice or care management and enable those that contact to get the required help, based on previous experience of what truly works.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of financial support, Vetlife provides emergency assistance, grants, access to CPD, professional debt advice, and accommodation to veterinary surgeons, nurses, and their dependants in the UK. This includes support for those needing short-term help, those that cannot work due to ill health, and other factors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>You can receive free advice and information\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vetlife.org.uk\/work-issues\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.
